Apparently, the Chinese have been naughty. It against International Treaty (of which they are signatories) to weaponize space. Now, after their test of a 'satellite killer' a couple of years ago, this probably shouldn't be a surprise, but building a weapon to attack land-based targets from space is a huge violation.
This blog exists to provide the proof of this, and to give you a chance to know what is going on before the administration, rather than admit what they did or didn't know, tries to foo foo this away. After all, since Obama re-tasked NASA to Muslim Outreach, how could they have known?
As you can see from these satellite photos from Google Maps, it is clear that the are intending attacks on both military and civilian targets. Since the Google satellite is not a 'keyhole' satellite, these photos could be a year or more old and the Chinese were already operational for testing. By now I would assume the weapon is 100% operational.
