Targeting Airfields

The United States is known for its air superiority, but what if you could, without warning destroy aircraft while they're sitting on the tarmac at the airbase in a preemptive strike?  This worked wonderfully for the Israelis i 1967, I suspect it would work well for a preemptive move before attacking Tiawan.

Many of the targets are drawn to represent airfields as shown below...

Note in the upper corner of the runway is a target zone for weapon tests.  The 'impact' areas are clearly visible pock-marking the target.  This runway target has obviously been in use for a while.

Here is a wider view showing this grouping of 'runways' used for targeting.  Note that these are not actual runways, some sort of reflective rock (white gravel?) is used to paint the runways to be visible from space in perfect perspective despite how the land changes.

And this is the target runway at the top, as well as the small target square seen at the bottom of the frame.

There has been some speculation that these runways are mimicking Area 51 but, as you can see, there is clearly no resemblance between them.
